12 Year Old Guitarist Amazes Guitar Players
Feb 10th, 2008 by Guitar MX Admin
Matt “Mojo” Tedder is an up and coming blues player, who’s a natural on the guitar and on stage. His influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B. King. He is also just 12 years old.
Mojo first discovered the guitar, literally, under a bed during a game of hide and seek when he was 8 years old. He stared taking lessons shortly thereafter, and amazed his guitar instructor during his very first lesson. He has studied and performed with former Alice Cooper lead guitarist John Nitzinger and Texas Blues guitarist Dennis Dullea.
Here’s a video of Mojo’s playing.
Mojo wants to work on singing, and plans to start a band when he is 15 or 16. He also plans to get a Masters Degree in Engineering, just in case it doesn’t work out. Advice he got from B.B. King.
