2007 US Air Guitar Championships Are Underway
Jun 11th, 2007 by Guitar MX Admin
The 5th annual US Air Guitar Championships are now underway.

The event began last week in Washington DC, and will hit 14 US cities. Contestants at each regional event will play air guitar to a 60-second song of their choice. Contestants will be rated on technical merit, stage presence and “airness” (whatever that is). The top 5 contestants will then compete to songs chosen by the event organizers. The winner of each regional event will compete in the US Finals, which will be held in New York in August. The winner of that event goes on to compete in the Air Guitar World Championships, which will be held in Finland.
