Design Your Own Guitar Contest

Peavey Custom Shop and Guitar World magazine have gotten together and are presenting the ‘Design Your Own Guitar Contest‘.
It works like this: Go to peaveycustomshop.com and begin designing your own custom guitar using their new interface. You can customize your guitar by selecting the color, finish and hardware and inlay materials. You can also upload an image from your computer to put on the body of the guitar.
Once you have designed your guitar, submit the unique build ID# to Guitar World using this form. The winner will get their design built by the Peavy Custom Shop, and will have it presented to them.
The contest runs until November 15. Click here to begin designing your custom guitar.
What an awesome idea for a competition, the peavey online guitar builder is pretty good, I blogged about it a while ago on guitar noize (http://www.guitarnoize.com/blog/comments/peaveys_new_online_guitar_builder/) it’s not as good as First Act’s though. Right I’m off to design a guitar!
it would be better if Peavey had some other body designs. I didn’t know about the First Act Guitar Builder. It is a lot better. Here’s the link if anyone is interested.
