Google Gadget: Guitar Chords Finder
Jun 6th, 2007 by Guitar MX Admin
iGoogle makes a great home page because of the custom feeds and cool gadgets that are available. One of the coolest gadgets I have added recently is the Guitar Chords Finder, developed by Yann Lohier and provided by Zikinf, a French music site.
The Guitar Chords Finder works by clicking on the finger positions on the fret board diagram. The program will display the name of each note. You can hear the chord by clicking the Play button. It works great, and is probably the best chord finder program on the Internet.
I have pasted the program below so you can try it out. You can view the source code here, or add it to your iGoogle page from here.

To make your own tabs free, if powertab is too difficult (www.power-tab.net) then you can use the free chord grroover software on http://www.guitartab.co.uk (open chords and solo notes tab)
