Guns N’ Roses Releases New Single, Free Dr. Pepper for All
Oct 23rd, 2008 by Guitar MX Admin
Guns N’ Roses has just released the title track off of their long awaited “Chinese Democracy” album, which has been in the making for over 10 years and has cost over 13 million dollars to make.
Here’s the new single:
You may recall from a previous post that soft drink maker Dr. Pepper offered a free can of Dr. Pepper to everyone in US, if Axl Rose would release the album in 2008. The offer worked, because the album will be released on November 23, 2008 at Best Buy stores.
Dr. Pepper has said that they will keep their end of the deal, which means free Dr. Pepper for everyone in the US, except former GnR guitarists Slash and Buckethead, who were not included in the offer.
Not too bad, I actually expected this song to be not so good. It was worth listening. I’m curious how the albums does. The stuff they did back for Terminator 2 soundtrack wasn’t very good. Nothing Axl can do to beat Appetite for Destruction, though. That was a great album.
