Living In a Guitar
Sep 27th, 2007 by Guitar MX Admin
Saw this featured at Live Search the other day. Someone in Fayetteville, Georgia is living in a guitar shaped house.

The house was built in the 1970′s by country music musician Elvis L Carden, who featured the house on the cover of his album “Living In An Old Guitar“. The house supposedly has electrical wires running along the flat roof to mimic the strings on a guitar. You can take a further look at the house here.

I know the guy that owns this house was John David Carden Sr. His son, John David Jr. , will be the next owner, as his father has passed. Mr. Carden was a country-western singer, and his son is also an upandcoming musician. The house is still in relatively good condition, minus a few repairs to the roof. In the greenhouse you will find signs of John David Jr.’s love of hortoculture via the humongous banana trees you will find growing there. If you would likt to learn more about the house, you will find John David Jr. At Memories in Stockbridge the night of Friday, April 17th, after he does his set for the pub.
