New Site Offers HD Video Guitar Lessons By Guitar Greats

Another guitar lesson site has just hit the net, offering video guitar lessons for a fee. ‘So what’ you ask? Well this site has a unique approach to providing online guitar lessons. The site is called iVideosongs. What makes it different is that it offers single HD video lessons, ranging in length from 10 to 45 minutes, for just $4.99 per downloadable lesson. The video lessons teach how to play songs on guitar of various categories, including “I Walk the Line” by Johnny Cash, “Losing My Religion” by REM and “Limelight” by Rush. iVideosongs has made agreements with music publishers to avoid any copyright disputes.
But there’s more. Some of the iVideosongs lessons are taught by the original artists themselves, like John Oates, Graham Nash and Alex Lifeson. The celebrity lessons cost a little more, $9.99 a lesson, but it’s a great deal. How else could you get a guitar lesson from someone like Alex Lifeson for less than $10?
Here’s a demo video of iVideosongs:
iVideosongs plans to have HD videos for over 1,000 songs on their site by the end of the year. You can check out the beta site of iVideosongs here.
I like this thing with the original players teaching the songs, it is great to learn it directly from the source.
