Robot Punk Band to Tour This Fall

| The current issue of Wired magazine has a brief story on the band Captured! by Robots, a punk band made up of a robot rhythm section, and a single human member. Jay Vance, known as JBOT, the only human in the band, built the robots after getting tired of playing in bands with flakey humans. As the story goes, JBOT spilled some coffee on the robots one night, and the robots revolted. They took JBOT prisoner and now control him through electric shocks and humiliate him with insults; all while touring the country in a rock show. Among the band members is a foulmouthed 7-foot tall guitar playing robot known as GTRBOT666, pictured to the right. |  |
