Video Guitar Lessons: 60s Funk & Soul

Every month, Riff Interactive dumps a month’s worth of videos from their ‘Lick Of The Day’ feature to their YouTube channel. These short LOTD video lessons follow a monthly theme. Riff Interactive just posted last months lessons from a series called ‘60’s Fun & Soul’, which show how to play funk licks, as well as licks influenced by Steve Cropper, The Meters and Sly & the Family Stone.

It is something different than I’m used to play and even if it sounds not that difficult, if you are not into your own musical area, it can be tricky.
That’s the beauty of the LOTD videos. Very simple, but good exposure to different styles.
