Win a Power Tour Guitar

| Tiger Electronics (Hasbro) in conjunction with Gibson has produced the Power Tour Electric Guitar, a guitar that helps children of all ages learn to play the guitar. This Gibson SG shaped guitar looks a lot like a Guitar Hero controller. But unlike the Guitar Hero game, Power Tour actually teaches you how to play the guitar. Although it has no strings, it helps the user learn strumming, timing, palm muting and familiarizes them with the fretboard. |

It does this by lighting up touch sensors on the fretboard which you press to play real electric guitar sounds from the built-in speaker. The Power Tour guitar plays twelve different songs. Six of which are rock classics like “Wild Thing” and “Smoke on the Water”. You can adjust the tones to a tone that suits your playing style – including metal, punk, rock and indie. There are also lessons included.
In addition to the Power Tour Guitar is the Power Tour Amp. In a nod to Spinal Tap, the amp volume actually goes to 11.
Gibson is currently giving one of these away to one lucky winner. Click here to enter the contest. Good luck!
I love the fact they made the amp go up to 11, one for the parents!
What a good idea though, little kids get too frustrated with the real thing because of how uncomfortable it is to begin with, this way they get results and its fun whilst building a bit of finger dexterity and familiarise themselves with the fretboard.
I agree totally. I wish they had this around when I was a kid.
I think that the power tour guitar is a kick ass idea and the fact that you can jam to your own music makes it so much better. to bad guitar hero dident have that. i plan on getting it for x mas one for me and one for a good frend.
Im loving the idea keep it up………peace out
I want a guitar because I like guitars but I can’t get any money to buy a giutar.
